This is the presentation on behalf of Apple, and it’s Tablet PC Development Section. It’s name… iPad !

iPad Apple Tablet
iPad is Apple’s proposition in category of tablet pc’s. Created to bridge the gap between iPhone/iPod Touch and MacBook offering specific functions of the above products in a much easier way.
These functions, as Steve Jobs said in Keynote’s presentation, are:
“Browsing the web. Doing email. Enjoying and sharing pics. Watching videos. Enjoying music. Playing games. Reading ebooks“.

iPad Tablet Apple
iPad promises to give a wind of change in everyday tasks through it’s iPhone/iPod Touch useful known interface.
The device looks like as a big iPhone with a 9.7” inch display and it’s been build according to MacBook technique (unibody), consists of a solid piece of aluminium.
Let’s see it’s detailed characteristics:
* 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology
* 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi)
* Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating
* Support for display of multiple languages and characters simultaneously
* 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB flash drive
* 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip
* Accelerometer/Ambient light sensor
iTunes/App store:

Apple launched iPad’s market with a big advantage, unlike to competitors, called App Store! All applications would be available and be supported to iPad.

User might choose if he want to watch the application in a iPhone-like diplay or fullscreen. Already developers have started the conversion of their applications to fit the bigger display of iPad. Just imagine the upcoming possibilities of your application.
In it’s simple way, developers created one application for two devices (as far as now!). Double opportunities, double money.
Let’s also not forget that developers would start very soon to make a very detailed version of their applications just for iPad device, to catch the opportunity of this upcoming market that iPad just started!!

iPad is offered in 2 versions: The one with WiFi ability and the other with Wifi + 3G (UMTS/HSDPA 850, 1900, 2100 MHz – GSM/EDGE 850, 900,1800, 1900 MHz).
Prices started at $499 for WiFi version of 16GB and reach up to $829 for Wifi+3G version of 64GB.

iPad Availability:
* iPad would be sold as a device without contract request (data plan). This would be optional for iPad WiFi+3G users that want an internet connection.
* The device is already unlocked. Apple learned it’s lesson from the 2 previous devices (iPhone/iPod Touch).
* Data plan prices are different for each provider and would be set according to each of them.
